It all started at Dooley's Irish Tavern Entourage Bash Breast Augmentation Giveaway, Tuesday, November 27, 2007



All entrants were required to write a 100 word essay about their story and why they should win the contest. There were 10 semi-finalists. Each was required to be at Dooley's on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. All semi-finalists would be judged on their story, sincerity and overall desire.

The judging was diverse. Their were four judges. Janeen Heilman - owner and founder of CoZmedic Surgery Associates, A representative from Real Detroit Magazine, A cancer survivor, and a promotions director.

Each semi-finalist had to tell their story to the Dooley's audience and be judged. In the end, the winner chosen had a true, heart-felt story that we feel needs to be shared. As her story and experience progress, we will update it here....

A bit more about Sarah:
Tell me about your kids: I have four children, ages 4 to 12. They are still overseas with my x-husband in Palastine and Isreal. Unfortunately, I have not seen them since 2006. If I could bring them back to the states I would in a heart beat! The rules are such that this is not an option for me, but, I would love to change that!

Tell me about your family here: I have a sister in Michigan and my mom is in Texas. I have not spoken with my father in years. My parents are retired.

Tell me about your future goals: I want to try to get my life back to normal. Since I was taken over seas in my early teens,my education stops at the 8th grade. I am working two jobs and do not even have time to get my G.E.D. I would love to find a way to get my four boys back to the states. This surgery will give me the confidence to face what life has to offer and give me strength to continue.

First Post-Op:
Sarah came back into CoZmedic Surgery Associates 6 days after her surgery on December 4, 2007. Her nipple sensation, incisions and swelling are all in tact and normal. Sarah commented that she is "extremely happy" and "still cannot believe I won!" She will be seen in the office again in three weeks.
